Sour Cream Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell
    2 tart cooking apples (about 1 lb.)
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sour cream
    Streusel Topping (follows)
Preparation
    Prepare pie shell and set aside.
    Peel, core and cube about 2 apples to measure 2 cups.
    Set aside.
    Sift sugar, flour and salt. Stir in egg; blend until smooth.
    Add vanilla and sour cream and stir in gently.
    Fold in apples.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake in preheated 400\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Remove from oven.
    Prepare Streusel Topping and spring over pie to oven for 10 minutes longer.
