Plain But Fancy Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed French onion soup (undiluted)
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed beef consomme soup (undiluted)
    1 c. long grain rice (not quick cooking)
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 small (4 to 5 oz.) can mushroom pieces
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients into a 1 1/2-quart ovenware dish (8 1/2 x 8 1/2-inch square is perfect).
    Bake, covered, for 1 hour in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Very tasty.
    One recipe makes 8 scant servings.
