Poppy Seed Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. poppy seed
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Soak the poppy seed in the milk for 2 hours.
    Cream the shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Sift the flour, baking powder and salt.
    Mix together and add poppy seed mix.
    Bake 1 hour in loaf pan at 350\u00b0.
