Glorified Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. shredded cheese
    4 Tbsp. butter
    salt to taste
    2 c. milk
    1 c. buttered crumbs
Preparation
    Cut cabbage coarsely.
    Cook in boiling salted water for 8 minutes.
    Melt butter or oleo in saucepan.
    Add flour and blend well.
    Gradually add milk, then stir in cheese.
    Cook until thick and smooth.
    Alternate cabbage and sauce in a buttered casserole dish.
    Top with butter crumbs and bake 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
