Peanut Brittle Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 c. salted peanuts, finely chopped
Preparation
    Sift the flour, baking soda and cinnamon together.
    Cream the butter.
    Add brown sugar gradually; cream well.
    Blend in vanilla and 2 tablespoons beaten egg (reserve remaining egg).
    Add dry ingredients and 1/2 cup peanuts; mix thoroughly.
    Spread or pat dough on greased 14 x 10-inch baking sheet.
    Brush with remaining egg; sprinkle with remaining peanuts.
    Bake in preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes on a 14 x 10-inch baking sheet.
    Do not overbake. Cut or break into pieces while warm.
    Can be frozen.
