Ingredients

1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 beaten eggs
Preparation

Grease and lightly flour 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Melt chocolate and butter; cool.
Stir together flour, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
In a mixing bowl, beat 4 eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla; gradually add 1 1/2 cups sugar.
Continue beating until thick and lemon colored.
Add dry ingredients to egg mixture; blend well and stir in chocolate mixture and nuts.
Beat cheese and remaining sugar and vanilla.
Spread 1/2 chocolate in pan.
Pour cheese mixture over; top with remaining chocolate mixture and swirl to marble layer if desired.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 45 minutes.
