Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
3 c. sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 3/4 c. milk
Confectioners Frosting (recipe follows)
Allegretti Glaze (recipe follows)
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together on wax paper. Beat butter and sugar together in medium size bowl until fluffy. Add vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add cocoa.
Add milk alternately with sifted dry ingredients in 3 additions, beating well after each addition.
