Broil-Bake Crispy Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 whole chicken legs, thighs attached
    seasoned salt, garlic powder and ground thyme
    boiling water
Preparation
    Rinse chicken; pat dry and cut off fatty skin.
    Sprinkle lightly on both sides with 3 spices.
    Arrange, skin side down, on rack in a broiler pan.
    Broil 4 to 6 inches below heat until lightly browned (about 10 minutes).
    Remove pan from oven.
    Re-set oven to 500\u00b0.
    Turn chicken over.
    Pour boiling water into pan under chicken to depth of 1/2 inch.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes until meat near bone is no longer pink.
