Lemon Frosted Mincemeat Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 Tbsp. soft butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. molasses
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 Tbsp. hot water
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. raisins
9 oz. box mincemeat
1 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients together well.
Add dry ingredients and water.
Mix until smooth.
Add nuts, raisins and mincemeat. Spread thin in 2 (13 x 9-inch) pans.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
