Texas Pecan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
6 eggs, well beaten
1 Tbsp. lemon extract
4 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 c. pecan halves
2 c. white raisins
Preparation

Heat oven to 300\u00b0.
Grease and flour tube pan.
Blend butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Gradually add eggs and lemon extract and beat until blended.
Sift flour and baking powder together 3 times.
Add nuts and raisins to flour.
