Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. oil
    4 eggs
    1/3 c. orange juice
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    5 to 6 apples peeled and sliced thin
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix apples with sugar and cinnamon mixture.
    Set aside.
    Mix remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Pour 1/2 of batter into well greased and floured tube pan.
    Place apples in pan.
    Cover with remaining batter.
    Top with some apples.
    Bake 1 1/4 hour at 350\u00b0, cool 20 minutes.
