Stir-Fry Rice And Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. sirloin
    1 medium onion
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    3 c. cooked long grain rice
    1 c. ketchup
    1 medium green bell pepper
    dash of vinegar
Preparation
    Cut meat into thin strips about 1-inch long.
    Cut onion into wedges and pepper into thin strips.
    Heat 1 tablespoon oil in wok over high heat about 5 minutes.
    Remove from wok.
    Heat 1 tablespoon oil in wok over medium-high heat.
    Add onion and pepper and stir-fry until vegetables are tender and crisp, about 2 minutes.
    Add meat and rice to vegetables.
    Combine all remaining ingredients in saucepan; bring to boil.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Pour over rice, meat and vegetables.
    Serve warm.
    Serves 5 to 8.
