Sugared Pecans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients and cook to soft ball stage (235\u00b0) without stirring.
Remove from heat and add vanilla and pecans. Stir gently until pecans are well coated and mixture becomes creamy.
Turn out on wax paper and separate as they cool.
