Ingredients

2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. raisins
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c. milk
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Rub in butter until blended.
Add raisins.
Add eggs and enough milk to make a dough. Chill 1 hour.
Roll out on floured board to thickness of 1/4 inch. Cut into 2 1/2 inch rounds (with a glass).
Bake on greased griddle or in frying pan (use butter) on low heat.
Turn to lightly brown on each side.
Sprinkle with sugar.
