Foolproof Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. shortening
    2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    water
Preparation
    Mix together first four ingredients with fork or pastry blender.
    Set aside.
    Stir together egg, vinegar and enough water to make 1 cup.
    Add to flour mixture.
    Chill 15 minutes, or shape into balls; flatten and freeze.
    Thaw and roll out for pie crust. Mixture may be stored in refrigerator for 3 weeks.
    Makes 7 crusts.
