Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 round steak, sirloin steak or roast
    salt and pepper to taste
    onion or onion flakes to taste
    1 large can tomato juice
Preparation
    Brown meat in skillet, adding salt and pepper.
    Place in crock-pot and add onion or onion flakes.
    Cover with tomato juice (crock-pot must be at least 1/2 full).
    Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or longer for a large roast.
