Rigatoni And Sausage: Sicilian-Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. link Italian sausage, sliced
    1/2 medium green bell pepper, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    4 c. spaghetti sauce
    2 tsp. sugar (optional)
    1/2 tsp. fennel seed, crushed
    1/2 lb. rigatoni (uncooked)
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
Preparation
    In a medium size skillet, cook the sausage with the green pepper and onion.
    When sausage is cooked completely through and the vegetables are tender; drain.
    Stir in the spaghetti sauce, your own or bottled sauce.
    Add the sugar and the fennel.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
