Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly and combine with sugar, salt, vanilla and scalded milk. Mix well and pour into pie crust. Sprinkle with nutmeg and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven 35 to 45 minutes or until mixture does not stick to knife.
