Beef Patties With Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground lean beef
    1 c. evaporated milk
    3 Tbsp. minced onion
    6 Tbsp. quick cooking rolled oats
    2 Tbsp. minced parsley
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    3 thin slices American cheese
Preparation
    Mix the first 7 ingredients and shape into 6 patties.
    Place in buttered baking pan and dot with oleo. Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes, basting twice with drippings from pan. Cut cheese slices into halves.
    Place a strip on each patty and bake 10 minutes longer.
    Serves 6.
