Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head cabbage, shredded (approximately 12 c.)
1 onion, chopped
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 can mushroom soup (8 oz.)
shredded cheese
Ritz crackers
Preparation

Cook shredded cabbage until tender; drain thoroughly.
In large skillet saute onion in 5 tablespoons butter.
Add soup and mix well.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
Remove from heat, stir in cabage and salt and pepper.
Transfer to ungreased 2-quart baking dish.
In small skillet melt remaining butter and add crushed Ritz crackers until lightly browned; sprinkle over casserole.
Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes or until heated through. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
