Bourbon Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/3 c. bourbon
    1 (10 to 12 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafers, finely crushed
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in a double boiler over hot water; remove from heat and stir in sugar, syrup and bourbon.
    Combine wafer crumbs and nuts.
    Stir in chocolate mixture; blend well and shape into 1-inch balls.
    Roll in additional ground nuts, powdered sugar or coconut.
    Store airtight for 1 to 2 weeks before serving.
    Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
