Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. oil
2 1/2 c. flour
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. mashed ripe banana
2/3 c. buttermilk (buttermilk substitute, 1/2 c. milk plus vinegar to make 2/3 c.)
2 eggs
pecans or walnuts to taste (if desired)
Preparation

Mix all wet ingredients.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to batter.
Stir well.
Line 2 loaf pans with wax paper; spray ends with nonstick spray.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
While still warm, pour over top glaze (powdered sugar and warm water).
