Cat Head Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together and blend with lard or shortening.
    Add buttermilk; mix good.
    Pat into big loaf.
    For each biscuit, pinch off a piece of dough about the size of a big lemon and pat it out with your hands.
