Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 c. flour
    6 Tbsp. cocoa
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    5 large eggs or 6 small eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sweet milk
    2 tsp. vanilla, added to milk
Preparation
    Sift flour once, measure, then sift 2 more times with 6 tablespoons cocoa.
    Have all ingredients at room temperature, cream butter thoroughly, add sugar, then eggs one at a time beating thoroughly after each.
    Add flour mixture 3 or 4 tablespoons at a time, alternately with milk, starting with flour and ending with flour.
    Grease large angel food cake pan on sides after placing piece of wax paper shaped like pan on bottom.
