Wiener Schnitzels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 veal or pork slices
1/4 c. lemon juice
3/4 c. flour
2 eggs
1 c. fine bread crumbs
4 to 5 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation

Beat eggs with 1 teaspoon water and set aside.
Beat cutlets and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Let stand 30 minutes.
Sprinkle a little salt on both sides of slices.
Dip in flour, then in egg, then in bread crumbs.
(Repeat for thicker schnitzels.)
Let stand at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes.
Fry in hot vegetable oil for 4 to 6 minutes on each side.
Serve sizzling hot, if possible.
Serves 4.
