Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. molasses
    2 c. boiling water
    1 beaten egg
    2 (9-inch) unbaked pie shells
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Combine the first 6 ingredients and pour into the unbaked pie shells.
    Combine the last 5 ingredients to make a crumbly mixture; sprinkle on top of the pies.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until golden.
