Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. water
Preparation
    Cook sugar, salt, water and syrup until it forms a soft ball in cold water.
    Beat egg whites until real firm.
    Slowly pour mixture over egg whites and beat.
    Add vanilla and beat until fairly thick.
    Add nuts and drop by spoon on wax paper.
