Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. sliced cucumbers
    4 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1 1/3 Tbsp. mustard seed
    3 medium onions, sliced
    1/4 c. salt
    1 1/3 Tbsp. turmeric
    1 1/3 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Blend vinegar, salt, sugar, turmeric, mustard seed and celery seed.
    Boil in a saucepan.
    Put sliced cucumbers in a gallon jar and onions.
    Pour mixture into a jar over cucumbers and onions. Cool and then put in refrigerator and keep.
