Parsnip Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked (9-inch) pie shell
    3 c. pureed plain parsnips, unseasoned
    2 Tbsp. soft butter
    1/2 c. + 2 Tbsp. honey
    1/4 tsp. powdered cloves
    2 Tbsp. orange rind
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. mace
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
Preparation
    Beat all other ingredients together until smooth, reserving the 2 additional tablespoons of honey.
    Pour the parsnip filling into the partially baked pie shell and drizzle the remaining honey over the top.
    Bake at 375 for 50 to 60 minutes.
