Rabbit Manhattan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 rabbit, dressed
    salt and pepper
    flour
    margarine
    3 bacon slices, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1 tsp. sage
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Cut up rabbit into serving size pieces.
    Shake the meat in a paper bag with flour seasoned with salt and pepper.
    Brown in margarine.
    Mix bacon, onion and egg.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Pour this mixture into a baking dish and arrange rabbit meat on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until tender.
