Cranberry-Orange Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. shortening
grated rind and juice from 1 orange plus enough water to equal 3/4 c.
1 egg, beaten
1 c. raw cranberries, chopped
Preparation

Blend dry ingredients.
Mix shortening, orange rind and juice and eggs.
Put together, then, fold in cranberries.
Grease 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cool thoroughly before slicing.
