Lime Parfait Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jell-O
2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. shredded lime peel
1/3 c. lime juice
1 qt. vanilla ice cream
1 (10-inch) baked pastry shell, cooled
Preparation

Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water.
Stir in peel and lime juice.
Add ice cream by spoonfuls, stirring until melted, with wire beater.
Chill until mixture mounds slightly when spooned. Pour into cooled pastry shell.
Chill until firm.
Trim with whipped cream (if desired).
