Texas Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. self-rising corn meal
8 oz. sour cream
1 large onion, diced
1/2 to 3/4 c. corn oil
1 can cream-style corn
1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated (save for a layer in the bread)
1 tsp. salt
1 large onion, diced
1 large green pepper, diced
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 whole eggs
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, except Cheddar cheese. Pour 1/2 of the batter into a
large prepared iron skillet. Sprinkle on the Cheddar cheese.
Pour in remaining batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
