Rhubarb Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 eggs, separated
    1 c. milk
    1 c. rhubarb, cut fine
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter, then add eggs (yolks) and mix well. Add milk.
    Spread finely cut rhubarb in bottom of unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
    Add stiffly beaten egg whites to the custard mixture, then pour it over the rhubarb in the pie shell.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 60 minutes or until point of knife inserted in center comes out clean.
