Hot Fruit Compote - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can medium pear halves
    1 can apricots
    1 can peach halves
    1 can sliced pineapple
    1 can cherries
    1 c. pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Arrange fruit in a long casserole dish using enough liquid to cover.
    Dot with butter or margarine.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0, uncovered.
    Syrup will thicken. Serve in chafing dish, if desired.
