Chili Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (20 oz.) can tomatoes
Preparation
    Prepare corn muffin mix as directed.
    Set aside.
    In a 12-inch skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until well browned, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; spoon off fat.
    Add chili powder, salt, garlic powder, tomato sauce and tomatoes and their liquid.
    Pour mixture into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish; spread corn muffin mix evenly over mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes, until top is golden.
    Serves 6.
