Basil Cream Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. olive oil
    4 large cloves garlic
    3 c. packed basil leaves
    2 c. heavy cream
    1 1/4 c. finely grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 lb. pasta (fettucine)
Preparation
    Blend 1/4 cup
    oil and garlic in blender.
    Slowly add basil and additional 1/4 cup oil until it becomes a fine green paste.
    In saucepan, add cream, basil paste, 3/4 cup cheese, salt and pepper.
    Heat just until hot.
    Cook and drain pasta.
    Toss with sauce and garnish with remaining Parmesan cheese.
