Flour Tortillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 tortillas
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. warm water
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients and add shortening.
    Blend in with pastry blender; add warm water to make a soft dough.
    Turn onto floured board and knead.
    Divide into 10 balls.
    Roll out each ball until flat.
    Cook on a dry hot griddle or in a dry hot skillet until bubbles form.
    Turn and brown on other side.
    Stack on warm plate. Serve hot.
    May be doubled or halved without any problems.
