Ingredients

1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. margarine or butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. peanut butter
2 eggs
1 c. quick cooking or regular oats
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat sugars, margarine, peanut butter, vanilla and eggs in large bowl with wooden spoon until creamy and well blended.
Mix together flour, oats, baking soda and salt, then add to creamed mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop dough by tablespoons (rounded) about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
