Walnut Peacherino Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 small pkg. lemon gelatin
1 3/4 c. boiling water
2 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. syrup from canned peaches
1/3 c. chopped walnuts
12 to 16 cling peach slices (16 oz. can)
4 maraschino cherries, cut up
1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in water.
Add lemon juice and peach syrup; cool until thickened.
Add walnuts.
Arrange peaches and cherries in an 8 x 4 x 4-inch loaf pan.
Cover with 1 cup gelatin; chill until firm.
To remaining gelatin, add sour cream.
Pour over fruit layer; chill.
Unmold and serve with mayonnaise.
