Southern Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked whole grain rice
    1 carton whipping cream
    1 c. sugar
    2 large eggs, beaten well
    2 c. milk
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. vanilla
    raisins (optional)
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Cook rice in 2 cups water.
    Cut off heat; add sugar, cinnamon and vanilla and mix.
    Turn on heat; add beaten eggs, milk and whipping cream.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring until it boils; when it boils, it will thicken.
    Remove from heat (will be slightly runny). Garnish with nutmeg.
