Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp. soda
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Beat eggs and add to sugar and shortening creamed together. Add molasses and soda.
Add flour and spices alternately with hot water.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
