Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water (110~)
    1 c. scalded milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 egg
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside.
    Combine milk, sugar, shortening and salt.
    Allow to cool.
    When cool, add 1 1/2 cups flour.
    Then add yeast and egg.
    Gradually add 2 cups flour and make soft dough.
    Beat well.
    Place in greased bowl and let rise until doubled.
    Punch down; shape and put in greased pans.
    Let rise until doubled.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
