Rhubarb Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. uncooked oatmeal
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine or butter, melted
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    4 c. diced rhubarb *
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon until crumbly.
    Press 1/2 of mixture in 9-inch square greased baking pan.
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, water and vanilla and cook until thick and clear.
    Place rhubarb on crumbs and cover with sauce. Cover with remaining crumbs.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
