Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. cook and serve pudding mix (chocolate or vanilla)
    4 c. milk
    1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
    3/4 c. confectioners sugar
    1 baked pie shell
    whipped cream or Cool Whip
Preparation
    In saucepan, cook pudding mix and milk over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.
    Remove from heat; cool slightly.
    In bowl, cut peanut butter into confectioners sugar until small balls form. Add additional powdered sugar if needed.
    Set aside about 2 tablespoons of crumb mixture.
    Sprinkle remaining mixture into pie shell.
    Pour pudding over crumbs.
    Chill until set.
    Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top.
