Prize Winning Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground meat
    2 c. chopped onions
    1 1/4 (15 oz.) can pinto beans
    1 1/4 (15 oz.) can tomatoes
    12 oz. tomato juice
    1 1/2 tsp. garlic
    3/4 c. chili powder
    3/4 c. Pace picante sauce
    4 oz. tomato sauce
    4 oz. water
Preparation
    Place ground
    meat
    and onions in a large pot and brown the meat
    until
    done.\tStir
    frequently
    to prevent burning. When the meat is browned, drain excess grease.
    Add remaining ingredients except
    for
    chili powder and Pace picante sauce. Heat slowly
    to a simmer being careful not to burn the chili. Add chili
    powder and picante sauce a little at a time and mix well.\tTaste
    your chili
    at
    each
    point
    and adjust to your likings.
