Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick oats (oatmeal)
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oatmeal.
    Let stand 20 minutes.
    Sift together flour, soda and salt.
    Cream butter and sugars; add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat well; add oatmeal, then dry ingredients. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
