Oatmeal Crispies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. butter or oleo, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, walnuts or almonds
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream sugars, butter, eggs and vanilla. Stir in nuts. Sift soda, salt and flour together and add to creamed mixture. Stir in oatmeal. Divide into 3 equal parts and roll each into a log in wax paper (will be soft). Chill until firm. Slice thin (1/4-inch) and place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
