Cheese Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. margarine, melted
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. light cream
    3 eggs, separated
    1 Tbsp. chopped green onion
Preparation
    Combine cornmeal and boiling water; stir until smooth.
    Stir in soup, cream, cheese, egg yolks, margarine, onion and salt. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; fold into cornmeal mixture.
    Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes or until done.
