Ingredients

6 eggs
2/3 c. orange juice
1/3 c. Grand Marnier
1/3 c. milk
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
finely grated peel of 1 orange
8 (3/4-inch) thick slices French toast
3 to 4 Tbsp. butter or oleo
4 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation

The night before, beat eggs in large bowl.
Add orange juice, Grand Marnier, milk, sugar, vanilla, salt and orange peel; mix well.
Dip bread into mixture, turning to coat all surfaces. Transfer bread to baking dish in a single layer.
Pour any remaining egg mixture over top.
Cover and refrigerate overnight, turning mixture occasionally until liquid is absorbed into bread.
